A Low-Sensory and Masks Encouraged performance of 'Bootersloot' will happen on Saturday 4 October at 2:30pm. As well as being a low-sensory performance, audiences are encouraged to wear a mask.
Bootersloot is a solo comedy-cabaret with a warm, whimsical style inspired by a cat nicknamed ‘butterslut’. It is created and performed by cabaret performer, Cousin Tara. The show features original music, storytelling and audience engagement, and explores different social and cultural beliefs around indulgence and shame. The musical numbers range from hip-hop parodies about sexual dysfunction, to Edith Piaf-style show tunes about being a performer. While the show is inspired by a cat, there will be no actual cat at the show.
Inclusions: Chill Out Space, N95 masks provided, Access Guide with Content and Sensory Information, Pre-Briefing, Audience Interaction adjustments, Lighting and Sound adjustments, Spaced Seating, Reduced Capacity
