The crowd roars. The ground shakes. Chloe Jackson enters the ring. It’s London, 2012, and women can finally compete in Olympic boxing. For Chloe, a girl from East London, years of training with her dad have led to this moment. But when he dies unexpectedly, she must learn to fight on her own.
Bitch Boxer by Charlie Josephine is a fast-paced, physical one-woman show about rage, love, grief, ambition and fighting to take up space. Directed by Hannah Smith and starring Shardae Santos, the award-winning production returns to the Melbourne Fringe following its acclaimed 2026 Adelaide Fringe season, where it won the inaugural Theatre Network Australia “Artform Shaker” Award.
