Wicked Words

Wicked Words is a delicious storytelling event that continues the legacy of Wicked Women, the infamous lesbian sex zine from the 1990s. Tiger Salmon and Archer Magazine have teamed up to bring you a fabulous Wicked Words party.

Wicked Words showcases stories that centre the strength, resilience, and outrageous queer beauty of trans and dyke folx. We are confronted by thousands of images and stories of hetero propaganda every day. Mainstream culture is drenched in it. Surely, we deserve the occasional antidote.

Sex-positive storytelling in queer spaces is vital. Here we are free of the pressure to explain ourselves. Led by desire, we can lean in and trust our bodies and sense each other's bodies.

Our invitation extends across the generations to all folx keen to take in the zeitgeisty atmosphere of the Wicked 1990s. Come along to hear trailblazers tell tales about our raucous queer heritage, and gird your loins for some contemporary erotica that celebrates dyke and trans sexuality in all its guises.
