This popular program allows participants to express themselves through the creative arts under the guidance of a qualified art therapist. Participants may wish to develop their creativity, self-esteem, communication, physical coordination and understanding of feelings. Participants also have an opportunity to exhibit and sell their art works at the annual Ableart exhibition at Federation Square.

The program is facilitated by a fully qualified and registered Art Therapist experienced in working with people with disability and mental health issues. The facilitator adapts the program to support varying needs. Various supports include compic, guiding through haptics, tactile materials, contrasting colours and large print. The facilitator is also an Auslan user.
