Throughout the year, students visit zoos, animal parks, sanctuaries and shelters. They research their favourite animals, and create projects that incorporate film making, painting, paper mache and drawing.

Qualified support workers work alongside the professional facilitating artists. Some transport to and from the venue is provided. The student's mobility allowance can cover this cost. Some staff members are trained in Auslan. People requiring one-on-one support can attend with their own carer or support worker.
