This workshop uses the form of Improvised dance, commonly known as ‘Dance Improv’.
Improvised dance is a free form dance practice. Less structured and less technically strict, it is a movement technique capable of evoking thought-provoking content. This form uses the dancers’ instinctual sense of free movement rather than conforming to structured choreographed dance moves.
This workshop will focus on providing participants with tools to open up the body, respond to their environment and discover new forms of movement in relationship to music.
