Lead by its learning disabled participants, the Beats Workshops offer the chance to get creative and connect with the world through digital technology and contemporary popular culture.
Workshops will focus on developing the participant’s DJing and MCing skills. Additionally, some workshops will be run by guest artists and explore hip-hop & breakdance, Trailer / Video Art, graffiti art, animation, filmmaking and adventures in virtual reality.
Workshops are accessible and suitable for ages 15+. Creative enablers will be present at each workshop to support mild to moderate access requirements.
The Beats Workshops are supported by funding from the City of Unley.
