The evening will comprise of three elements:
A performance by the Korma Kids Youth Orchestra; a cultural exchange session led by the Korma Kids (where the kids will teach the audience a song and invite them to participate in its performance); and a Performance by Electric Korma.
The Korma Kids Youth Orchestra is a program run by George Stanton, where children of Indian heritage play songs of their culture. This will be their first annual concert.
Electric Korma is a 3 piece band that plays Bollywood classics with a rock twist. Being entirely of non-Indian heritage; Electric Korma present an outsiders take on the golden era of Indian film music.
Dinner packs can be ordered by a show of hands before the show starts. These will arrive to be eaten during interval. There’ll be veg, non-veg, and vegan options.
