Winner 1999 BBC New Comedy Award

Winner Best Newcomer Award 2006 Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Nominee Edinburgh Comedy Award 2010, 2011 & 2012

"After defeat, re-enchantment is necessary", said Lola Olufemi.

This thought inspires Josie Long’s brand-new hour of stand-up infused with humanity, compassion and probably some brief political rants.

The triple Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee, underdog Fringe hero and delirious new mother (the first person to have two babies) returns with a show about the changes wrought by time, passion, moving to Scotland and loving the world under – let’s face it – difficult circumstances.

The lift is then taken to Level 1, which opens out into a large black and white tiled foyer. Please head through the large gilded bronze doors towards the main steps and turn left down the corridor to reach the Cloak Room.

Accessible seating is available near the entrance door to the performance space. An accessible bathroom is available on the Ground floor and on Level 3, which is accessible via the lifts.

Please see How to Book Your Ticket if you require step-free and/or wheelchair access in Cloak Room and please see a Comedy Festival Front of House staff member when you arrive at the venue.

Wheelchair access can be arranged upon arrival but venue staff will need to assist (eg. placing ramps).
