Classes run from 9:00 am to 12:00pm and 12:30pm to 3:30pm. People can choose to do one or both sessions.

Participants explore knitting, crochet, macrame, patchwork, sewing, applique and paper mache, and also create art from everyday objects. Projects include the sustainable recycling project using branches and twigs to create sculptural pieces. The group is currently working towards running a stall at the La Trobe University Market on Thursdays.

The group facilitator is experienced in working with people with disability and is supportive of participants' artistic and creative development. Please note that staff members are not able to provide personal care and one-on-one support. People requiring one-on-one support can attend with their own carer or support worker.
