Established in 1972, the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) is South Australia’s leading screen authority and investment body, supporting the development, growth and promotion of the state’s screen production sector.

As the most experienced screen agency in Australia the SAFC focuses on supporting, positioning and championing South Australian screen businesses to achieve creative excellence and prosperity, contributing to a robust South Australian economy and creative vibrancy through production of a diverse slate of screen projects – from films and TV series to video games and more.

The SAFC is looking for an all-round finance whiz to join our team as Finance Officer. This is a great role for someone who loves variety, and is happy to take ownership of several finance processes.

Based at the SAFC’s beautiful Adelaide Studios in Glenside, the Finance Officer is responsible for accounts payable and receivable (AP/AR), managing payroll and expenses, reconciliations and regular reporting, as well as preparing the monthly BAS and assisting the Head of Finance with various tasks.

This is a role well-suited to someone who has come from a book-keeping or Finance Assistant position, who is highly organised and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities. A great eye for detail and proven experience in financial management are essential.

Formal training in finance will be highly regarded, but not essential.

This is a full-time role, but part-time candidates will be considered. Please advise your availability in your cover letter.

If you would like to play a part in the growth of South Australia’s thriving screen industry, working within a dynamic team of professionals in a fantastic location then apply now.

We will review applications as they are received, so early submission is encouraged.
