Grace Dance Company presents their debut work Sincerely Survivor, coming to Melbourne Fringe Festival this November. Sincerely Survivor explores what often goes unsaid and unfelt here in Australia, advocating for mental health through the Arts.
We create art to enable our empathy.
In this work, dancers take the role of pilgrims, exploring asylums of old. We are inspired by submissions to the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System and seek to amplify the voices and stories of people who have lived experience of mental health.
The opening night for our virtual season is on November 13th and closing night November 29th - followed by a QnA with artists.
