Spark Play!

Play is vital for children’s development, health and wellbeing, and the basis for Polyglot’s creative exploration. We are committed to the theatrical possibilities that spark child’s play.

Our work gives children the agency to be in control, to communicate their ideas and imagination, and experience joy and connection.

Spark Play! is a brand-new, FREE, at-home event that you can do in your own time with family and friends.

We have some questions for children AND adults, and we’d love to know your answers. You can think about the questions, and then share your answers by:

- Drawing
- Making a creation
- Writing
- Voice or video recording

Questions for kids to think about:

- How do you play?
- Why is it important for kids to be creative?
- What would need to happen so that all kids everywhere could be creative and play?
- If your voice could be heard by the whole world, what would you say?

Questions for adults to think about:

- What is a childhood memory of being creative?
- What sparked a recent burst of creativity?

Responses will be shared (anonymously) as they arrive. Together, we’ll spark child’s play.
