Survival. Balance. Growth. presents the work of five emerging artists as part of the Art from the Margins Emerging Artist Program. Recognising the interconnectedness of people and their environment, these works collectively reveal how achieving balance and growth within ourselves, our personal relationships and our environment can contribute to wellness and ultimately, our survival.
Each of the five artists represented in this exhibition have found their creativity to be an important part of their own lives, finding balance and personal growth through their art practice. This exhibition, to be presented at Art from the Margins and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane, is an opportunity for the artists to present artworks that they feel will inspire and motivate others that are on their own healing journey.
The exhibition includes works by Clinton Barker, Janice Crosbie, Anne Parker, Crystal Parry, and Michael Tichowitsch.
