Brunswick Music Festival proudly present WITCH (We Intent To Cause Havoc) for the very first time in Australia! They call them the Beatles of Zambia and frontman Emmanuel Chanda the Paul McCartney of his home turf. And when you’re this prolific and innovative across multiple globe-encompassing genres, you can kinda see why. Zamrockers WITCH formed in the 70s but are very officially enjoying a riotous renaissance.
Their new studio album Zango is propelling them into a whole new era of appreciation by way of intoxicating Afrobeat, spacey psych-pop and Sabbathian proto-metal. Brunswick Music Festival is happy to catch them mid-orbit.
WITCH will rattle Estonian House with Squid Nebula on March 7.
