Writing Your Own Piece with Carly Findlay and Andy Jackson

Led by renowned Australian Disabled writers, come and write your Manifesto. An Alter State Academy workshop at Arts Centre Melbourne.

Join Carly Findlay and Andy Jackson for a one-day masterclass in expressing your unique creative identity and vision for the future through the art of writing.

In this hands-on arts learning experience, students will work with Carly and Andy to brainstorm ideas and explore writing techniques to create a piece of writing, spoken word, poetry or prose exploring participants' hopes for the future. Participants are welcome to apply for one or more Academy workshops.

There is an opportunity to submit your writing to be performed by either yourself and or by artists as part of the Disabled Futures: Manifesto showcase on Friday 4 October in the early afternoon to the wider creative industry.
