Lucy Guerin Inc and Temperance Hall are currently seeking expressions of interest for the third season of Out of Bounds.

Out of Bounds is an exciting choreographic ideas sharing platform presented by Lucy Guerin Inc and Temperance Hall. The program invites Victorian artists to present showings of recent choreographic ideas and investigations to local audiences, fellow artists and peers. The initiative also provides participants with the opportunity to receive creative feedback about their work, with post-showing discussions facilitated by experienced Victorian dance practitioners.

The next Out of Bounds will be held at Temperance Hall on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 August 2022.

The August program has places for up to 22 artists to present an excerpt of a work in development (up to 10-minutes long). Each work-in-progress showing will be presented just once across the weekend.

Out of Bounds seeks to represent dance artists from across all forms, practices, cultures, histories, lineages, styles, disciplines, aesthetics and experimentations. The program’s aim is to show new work in a raw state—providing a generous, open space for artists to take risks and try out their ideas. Works will not be programmed if they are complete or have previously received a public outcome.

The EOI for the August program is now open and closes at midday on Tuesday 31 May.
