LGI are delighted to host Caroline Bowditch (AUS) and Luke Pell (UK) for the latest in LGI’s Dance Dialogues series. Join us for a relaxed chat as the artists discuss their perspectives on practice and art-making, followed by an audience Q&A.
Thu 4 March, 7-8pm AEDT
Taking place in-person at WXYZ Studios and livestreamed via Zoom.
Caroline is CEO of Arts Access Australia and Luke works internationally as a maker, curator and dramaturg. As long-term companions in practice, they have collaborated together on both their respective artistic works and in hosting spaces of development for other disabled and LGBTQIA+ artists.
In this conversation, they will talk a little bit about the synergy between them, their approaches and perspectives and why they believe dance, choreography and performance are so important. Especially in this now and our unimagined tomorrows.
