Australian singer-songwriter Lior and acclaimed composer Nigel Westlake team up to present “Compassion” with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
Based on Hebrew-Arabic text, “Compassion” is a symphonic song cycle that unites Lior’s energising vocal range with Nigel Westlake’s orchestral writings, performed by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Audiences will be immersed in moments of ethereal beauty and lyricism that crosses cultural and emotional divides.
The journey doesn’t end there. Lior pours his passion into a range of songs from his award-winning career. From “This Old Love” and “Bedouin Song” to “If I Lost Your Love” – his musical influences transport us to the harmonies and rhythms of the Middle East, and back home.
