SPARC Theatre offers performance opportunities for people with disability and mental health issues. Workshops explore drama, acting, singing and other art forms and are facilitated by professional artists.
Focus
Other Focus
Staff are highly experienced in working on community based arts programs, and have undergone mandatory training as part of the council employment process. Participants requiring attendant care can attend with their own carer. The group does not work with people for whom restrictive practice is necessary. Additional supports can be organised for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing, and blind or have low vision. Audio description, subtitling, and Auslan interpretation are provided at some performances and events.
